|Cocoa trees bear fruit pods which contain cocoa beans. These beans are dried and turned into powder form and is easily soluble in water.|
Jelly Chocolate Pudding Ingredients
3 large glasses of water
3 tablespoons pure cocoa powder
150 grams china grass
Chocolate-Pudding Milk Sauce Ingredients
2 egg yolks
2 ½ glasses or 500cc low fat milk
1 teaspoon fresh ground vanilla
150 grams sugar
Boil water, jelly and cocoa powder. Whisk until jelly dissolves.
Pour jelly inside a mould. Leave to cool. Refrigerate
Beat up egg yolks until slightly fluffy. Add in low fat milk, vanilla and sugar.
Boil until sugar dissolves, stir for another 5 minutes and put off fire.
When ready to serve, cut pudding into smaller slices and place in a bowl.
Pour in milk sauce. If you like cold pudding, add some ice cubes. Its great to eat, this pudding is not sweet and cocoa has anti oxidant properties.
Chocolate Pudding makes servings for six. My dutch artist friend loves this so much, that we decided to invite friends over for a special tea gathering and serve this as “The Vincent van Gogh-Chocolate Pudding" for our tea gathering.
