A SPECIAL GUEST POST FROM BALQIS FOR ALL OF US

TURBAN FRUIT

Turban is on the head,

But one goes into the pot,

Sweet and delicious it is,

Stunning colors, appease the taste,

Tickles taste buds, makes one drools,

Vitamins and minerals boost the health,

Nice to look at, sumptuous it is,

Feeds the body, brings out the beauty!

With food for thought,

BALqis

  12. Actually we should enjoy the food on the table.. and create poetry as means to appreciate and enjoy them..

I remember while in the estate, had to bake my own breads and buns, to serve visitors for the morning breakfast..

I was desperately singing to the dough
    "rise nicely please please rise!
Dont you dare give me any surprise
Please just rise and double your size!"

    he he -
