OATS PORRIDGE WITH FISH BALLS


OATS PORRIDGE WITH FISH BALLS RECIPE

Ingredients:  for 2 persons
1 medium size carrot- slice 1 cm thick
2 pieces garlic-minced
10 pieces fish balls
4 cups mineral water                                        
1/4 cube chicken stock
Salt and pepper
2 cups quick cook oats
Spring onion
Salt and pepper
Boil 4 cups mineral water with garlic, chicken stock, carrots, fish balls, salt and pepper
When carrots almost softened, add in oats and spring onions.

Stir for 2 minutes and put off fire. Garnish with spring onions. Serve hot

    It sure looks fantastic. Very creative too.
    And makes a change from nasi lemak or toast bread with butter and eggs.

  19. As you know, I'm allergic to seafood...but this is a unique way to make oats. Very simple to prepare and a savory dish. I've always had it as a sweet dish. Very clever!

  37. In order to make the porridge simply mix the oats with the water or milk and put into medium heat in a saucepan. As the temperature rises it will begin to cook together. It only takes a couple of minutes to cook, but if you like yours thicker then leave it a bit longer.
